Lifesong Kenya Appeal Letter

Lifesong Kenya Appeal Letter
Children from Five Star Academy writing a Thank-You Note to a Sponsor

That is right. This is the Lifesong Kenya Appeal Letter! We are asking for your support and partnership for 2016 and the many years to come. We have had a successful campaign this year and I am so excited, I am doing a jig in celebration. God has enabled us to succeed with the limited resources that we have.
Two years ago, I never imagined that I would be using sewing thread, needles and buttons to sustain Lifesong Kenya. I also never imagined that I was going to get married on a zero budget. Now you know why I am doing a jig and writing a Lifesong Kenya Appeal Letter!

Review of 2015

This year, we managed to minister to over 500 children and young people. Apart from our projects at Dagoretti Girls Rehab and Five Star Academy, we managed to visit the following;

  • Kibera Pride
  • Pillars of Hope
  • Kariobangi South Primary School
  • Kawangware Friends Primary School

We had two events that are worth mentioning. The British Army Band visited and played for our children. We had a one-week mission for children at Maralal Pentecostal Church. Our partnership with Strathmore University grew a notch higher this year. The Mint continued giving us story books for our growing library. Our candidates who sat for exams all got success cards from well wishers.
I managed to start writing about interesting people on my blog. Feel free to check the site for inspirational stories.
