WOW Educational Fund

Lifesong Kenya’s WOW Educational Fund aims to provide an anchor and a reason for boys who are struggling to remain in school. 

This reduces their chances of dropping out of school and engaging in social vices such as drug abuse and crime.

Additionally, beneficiaries of the WOW Educational Fund receive support through coaching, mentoring and job shadowing so they can be more resilient and motivated.

Program Needs:

  • school fees
  • text books and mathematical sets
  • school uniform – shirts, sweater, trouser, socks, shoes and tie

How You Can Help:

Every Gift Box you provide contains essentials for school including exercise books, pens, mathematical set, school uniform, shoes and exams fees. The items are personally delivered to each male teen, and includes a note of encouragement from you.

Your Impact: Benefiting boys who get to stay in school, gain confidence and have the opportunity to gain dignity.

How Your Money Helps

  • $5 sponsors lunch for a student in day school
  • $12 A4 Execise Books, Pens and Mathematical Set
  • $15 sponsors a dignity pack (underwear, vest, socks, handkerchief and shaving) 
  • $20 provides bus fare for our job shadowing program during school holiday
  • $25 pays for lunch for the whole year
  • $50 sponsors our school holiday camping and mentoring program 
  • $100 sponsors 1 month stay at our Halfway House
  • $300 buys a bicycle and a helmet for 1 graduate
