Our Impact
Clients Served Since 2017
Each year, our programs assists over 100 male youth through skills training, character development, financial literacy, personal branding and restorative justice.
Years of Service
In 2022, Lifesong Kenya celebrated 9 years of helping male teens in Kenya to adopt a positive attitude. In 2013, we began developing our capacity to become a formidable organization.
Commitment
All of our programs and activities target the boy-child, their families and the communities where they belong. We treat all of them as Exceptional Young Men and expect them to thrive.
Where We Begun
Our founder, James Ouma, begun going to prison in July 2012 during his off day from work on Fridays. In 2013, he quit his job as a Children’s TV Producer to grow Lifesong Kenya’s programs.
Where We Are Now
We’re running programs in school, juvenile prison and transitional housing and by so doing, addressing the root cause of conflict, crime and offense at home, school and in the community.
Where We Want to Be
We want to create projects and businesses that will create employment for our male youth and an income for Lifesong Kenya’s programs and activities.
