We are thrilled to announce that Lifesong Kenya has been nominated for the 2026 BAKE Awards — one of Kenya’s most respected platforms for recognizing excellence in blogging, digital storytelling, and social impact.
This nomination honors our unwavering commitment to providing safe housing, education, counseling, and skills training to vulnerable boys in Kajiado County. For years, our Halfway House has stood as a sanctuary where brokenness meets hope, and where young men discover that their past does not define their future.

We are recognized by the Department of Children Services, Kajiado County, and support boys who have experienced trauma, abandonment, or difficult circumstances. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope, healing, and transformation, with a vision of a Kenya where every boy, regardless of background or brokenness, has access to the love, guidance, and opportunity he needs to become a purposeful, contributing man.
We collaborate with police, probation officers, chiefs, social workers and shelters. We belong to multiple networks that include the National Shelters Network, Brave Movement Kenya, and various Kajiado County child protection alliances.
