February 2020 is finally here. A group of twenty (20) male teens have just signed up for our REAM Program. For the next 3 – 4 months our staff and volunteers will engage these 20 boys in skills training, character formation, discipleship, healing and reconciliation.
As usual, this is very exciting news indeed!
Plea for Support
How often do you see a plea for support towards at-risk male teens and think: “that’s not my problem. My son isn’t in prison!” Well, that may be true. Your son may be safe from it all.
As a matter of fact, he may not be struggling with peer pressure or low self-esteem. However, it’s high time you plugged in and started supported Lifesong Kenya.
“Our actions, and inaction, touch people we may never know and never meet across the globe.”― Jacqueline Novogratz
It’s High Time You Plugged In
You may not be going through the rejection and trauma that parents whose sons are in prison face. But this is a daily and reality that is affecting our communities and children.
At Lifesong Kenya, we are dedicated and committed to restoring at-risk male teens back to their families, the people they’ve wronged and their communities.
Our intervention enables at-risk male teens to exit juvenile prison with the skills, character, healing and reconciliation they need to stay away from crime and violence.
As a result, you have an opportunity to provide hope, courage and true transformation. We would like you to plug into our work, programs and activities today. Answer our call by becoming a donor, speaker or a volunteer today.
This is the right time for you to support us.
“I knew about Lifesong Kenya in 2017 when I enrolled in their mentorship and character formation program. Through the program I was able to learn how to use computers, how to relate with people and avoid engaging with bad companies. I have just finished my primary education and joined high school. I look forward to what lies ahead.”― Waylong BULIMU, 2017 Graduate
