Besides paying rent for six months, we were able to rescue two more boys who needed safe housing.

Recently, the Cooperative Bank of Kenya made a remarkable contribution by donating KES 300,000 to cover six months’ rent for our Halfway House for boys. While this gift secured a safe place for vulnerable children to live, its impact extended far beyond paying rent. For many boys who come to Lifesong Kenya, a safe place to sleep is the first step toward rebuilding their lives.
Our Halfway House provides much more than accommodation. It is a place where boys experience stability, receive emotional support, return to school, participate in sports, develop life skills, and build positive relationships with mentors who encourage them to believe in their future.
When children have a secure environment, they are better able to focus on learning, healing, and achieving their potential.

- Paying for electricity, water, internet and other essential utilities
- Providing animal feed for our sustainability projects
- Covering medical expenses when boys required healthcare
- Paying pending staff allowances owed to our dedicated team
