Hey everyone!
We are reaching out today with a cocktail of gratitude and a heartfelt plea. First, a massive THANK YOU for keeping the doors of our halfway house for boys in crisis open. Your unwavering support for Lifesong Kenya’s Halfway House has been super incredible. Because of you, we have served over 20 boys since 2021. These boys have found a safe refuge, healing, and a chance to rebuild their lives. You have helped us to provide a place to call home and a loving community where these boys can truly begin to heal.

These young boys have faced things that no one, especially a child, should ever have to endure. When they arrive at our halfway house for boys in crisis, they need more than just a roof over their heads. They need nutritious food, medical care, education, protection. Above all else, they need a safe space to process the stigma and trauma they have gone through. And you’ve held their hands, every step of the way.
We have seen incredible transformation. Boys who came in through the door feeling broken and shattered are now thriving. They are learning new skills, making friends and daring to dream again. They are learning what it means to be part of healthy community and a future that is free from stigma and trauma.

Our Halfway House for Boys in Crisis Needs You More!
But here is the truth: we’ve hit a bump in the road. We are facing a significant funding gap that threatens our ability to keep our doors open. Our monthly expenses – rent, utilities, food and staff who are like family to these boys – totals to $3,000. This enables us to take care of three boys staying at our Halfway House and 50 more in our After-School Program. In a good month, our amazing individual donors contribute $900. However, this leaves us with a $2,100 deficit. Every. Single. Month.
As you can see, we have a hit a huge bump that is threatening our operations. We need your help, now more than ever, to ensure that 50+ boys continue to have essential care and support. We can’t turn our backs on them. They’ve come so far, and they deserve the chance to continue their journey toward healing and hope.
