Most at-risk male teens who exit juvenile prison often face the risk of going back to prison as hardened criminals due to lack of proper transition. Lifesong Kenya seeks to address this by providing a Half Way house in 2021. In order to do this, we are organizing a cycling event. Join our Half Way Cycle 2020 and learn more.
Male teens exiting juvenile prison often face stigma and rejection from their families, their peers and the people they have wronged. Many times, they are also marked by police officers who profile and target them for future crimes and arrests.
As a result, they face high risks of re-offending and going back to prison as hardened criminals. Lifesong Kenya seeks to address this by providing a Half Way House for at-risk male teens who need more time and support to reconcile with their families and the people they have wronged.
