Helping Boys to Discover Who They Can Become

Every boy carries strengths, gifts and possibilities that can be developed.

Born for Greatness helps boys and young men to build clarity, confidence and roaring courage through coaching, mentoring, healing, outdoor learning, leadership development and practical life skills.

A Boy's Story Does Not Have to Be Defined by His Past

Boys who experience trauma, rejection, family instability, conflict or difficult circumstances can begin to believe that their circumstances define who they are.

Born for Greatness creates space for boys to explore a different possibility.

Through coaching, mentoring, counselling, outdoor experiences and leadership development, we help boys understand themselves, recognise their strengths and take responsibility for the future they want to create.

The goal is not to tell boys who they should become. It is to help them discover their strengths, make conscious choices and develop the courage to become purposeful young men.

What We Do

Co-Active Coaching

We use Co-Active coaching conversations to help boys clarify what matters to them, explore possibilities and take meaningful action. Boys are given opportunities to develop leadership skills and use their influence positively.

Narrative Guidance

We help boys examine the stories they carry about themselves and create space for new ways of understanding their experiences. Boys learn practical skills for managing money, making decisions and preparing for greater independence.

Trauma-Informed Counselling

Where appropriate, boys receive counselling and emotional support to help them process difficult experiences. Group sessions create opportunities for boys to learn from one another, practice communication and develop healthy relationships.

Outdoor Learning Experiences

Camping, hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor learning experiences to provide opportunities to develop courage, teamwork, responsibility and resilience. We help boys explore communication, boundaries, respect, responsibility and healthy relationships.

Boys and Young Men Ready to Grow

Born for Greatness supports boys and young men who may be:
