Are you looking for a cause to support? Lifesong Kenya is looking for more people who can support our programs and activities on a monthly basis. Continue reading and find our why we need you to become a monthly sustainer.
Lifesong Kenya empowers male teens through the following:-
- skills training
- character formation
- discipleship
- healing and reconciliation with families, police officers and the people the boys have wronged and hurt
Our goal is to help our exceptional young men to gain skills, amend for their wrong doing as well as heal and reconcile them with their families, the people they have wronged and the community.
We conduct our programs and activities at Kamiti Youth Correctional Training Centre from Monday to Friday every week. Every 4 months we are able to empower 25 boys which translates to 100 boys per year.
We need your support to meet our monthly budget for the program. This will enable us to do the following:-
- Conduct daily skills training in computers, barbering and bike repairs
- Conduct daily life skills, character formation, financial literacy and discipleship
- Call and visit families, police officers and the people the boys have wronged
- Attend court cases with boys whose families are absent
Cater for daily transport and meals for our staff members and volunteers
How to support as a monthly sustainer
We are seeking for monthly (recurring) financial support preferably Kshs. 500 ($5), 1000 ($10), 2000 ($200), 10000 ($100) or any other amount of your choice. You can also contribute on a quarterly or one-off basis.
